Today the writing team delegated clear tasks between ourselves in order to provide a better plan and to prevent future mistakes as the workload would be clearly delegated, with the due date included.

So far we have produced several lists of things to do and have made our Gantt charts/plans but often get confused about what writer is in charge of what and what certain headers mean. Today we gathered all of the work expected from us, clearly listed it and then divided the tasks between us. First we took one task each that we wanted to do - To allow everyone at least one task that they enjoy and to also show a more friendly approach to the leadership role, believing that people work best when they are happy and feeling comfortable with their "colleagues". After that we decided to play to our strengths and select tasks that might not be as appealing but would also contribute to our area of expertise - allowing for better material to be produced.
Today was very successful as we now have a clearer idea of what the writing team and I are doing and what we need to produce. Doing this also helped towards our individual/group plans - to fully flesh out the exact details, not just generic headings like "Mood boards". If I were to attempt this project again, I would start off by producing a similar list to this, not awaiting until confusion arises to make one.
