Today I discussed creating a marketing video with both the animation and marketing teams, to provide more marketing resources for the marketing department and to also practice my script writing skills before developing the main script for our game. This video would act as a small introductory trailer with the animator rotoscoping various elements in to allow for a better representation of our game.
However, there are some crucial elements yet to discuss, due to our lack of skill with the recording suite we have decided to enlist the help of one of our Film & Tv friends to help us with the video, as well as initiating with the beginners course needed to use the suite. As of yet, we haven't decided a fixed date due to the spontaneity of this project - more planning is still needed.
Overall, this session could of been more successful/productive as we could have a better plan of what we were doing, with what needs to produced and when. In the next available lesson I plan to have a small meeting discussing these details in order to finish this project on time.
